anyone ever cook on an oil rig camp cook the earth?
We are in the process of applying to oil and caterers to work in the camp. We expect 12 hours a day, 10 days to three weeks, 4-7 days away, but what else can we expect to be at work. Us (Husband and I) now operate a catering company of ours, are very good cooks (I'm trained in culinary arts), but can not keep pace with rising food costs. Do we have an opportunity to be hired anywhere?
I'd say chances are excellent the past. Offshore cooks make well too. Generally, work 2 weeks on 2 weeks of rest.
